[After seeing Ed’s resolve] “If you can do that, I should be just as serious about the things I believe in.”
Oh, wow. Winry.
These chapters really confirmed just how much of a brilliant and brave character Winry is.
From her wanting to study more into her profession as an automail engineer, to becoming friends with Paninya and convincing her to give up thievery, to keeping her cool and helping a woman deliver a baby during a thunderstorm and flash flood and then deciding to stay on as an apprentice in Rush Valley, leaving behind her home and her grandmother to live independently for the first time.
She grew up reading medical textbooks and knew the exact direction she wanted to go in life from a young age, following in the footsteps of her parents and grandmother.
She has so much strength and determination and I wish I could have half of that motivation!
Throughout it all, her friends and family support her and wish her luck and help her along the way - and they each mean so much to her.
Haha, I can’t really put it into words properly, but I LOVE WINRY SO MUCH.
